The YMCA welcomes all who wish to participate and believes that no one should be denied access to the Y based on their ability to pay. Through our People Helping People Payment Program, the YMCA of Martinsville-Henry County provides assistance to youth, adults and families based on individual needs and circumstances.

COMMITTED TO OUR COMMUNITY
Determining assistance amount is handles by the YMCA in a fair and consistent manner. Every YMCA member receives the same membership benefits, regardless of whether or not they receive a flexible payment offering. YMCA members can feel confident knowing that they are a part of an organization that cares greatly for the well-being of all people, and is committed to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
AWARD GUIDELINES
1. A People Helping People Flexible Payment Award reduces membership fees; it does not eliminate them.
2. Once approved People Helping People Flexible Payment Awards will be granted for 12 months.
3. Individuals & Families will need to reapply annually; unless circumstances change; with updated documentation.
4. Membership fees are subject to change when you reapply.
5. If you do not reapply at the time requested, your discount will expire.
6. Applications will be reviewed within 72 hours. You will be notified by phone once your application is reviewed.
7. Once approved you have 30 days to begin your membership. If you fail to claim your award within the timeframe you must reapply.
